Visits

The reserve affords excellent educational opportunities for schools and colleges, whether it is to do some practical tasks, see the butterflies and other wildlife, including pond dipping, learn about the history of the common or the ongoing restoration work. The site is sandy and therefore usually dry, and mainly level.

To date pupils and students from Tilstock Primary School, Prees Primary School, Clive Primary School, Sir John Talbot School, Bishop Heber School, Walford & North Shropshire College, Harper Adams University, Staffordshire University, Stafford College, Wolverhampton University and Preston Montford Field Studies Centre have all visited.

If you would like to arrange an educational visit please get in touch with Stephen Lewis, Warden, who can be contacted on Telephone Number 07900886809 or by email This email address is being protected from spambots.
